What is The Dance Studio Online?

The Dance Studio Online is an online platform where you can learn to dance or improve your dance skills! We have some of the best professional dancers and industry experts taking you through your first steps in our pre-recorded courses perfect for beginners. If you are a more advanced dancer we also have a Tricks & Tips subscription to help you become better!

The Dance Studio Online currently offers Jazz, Street, Irish Dancing, Zumba, Yoga and Pilates with more styles coming soon. You can find out more about the instructors for each style here.

What is included in the Tricks and Tips subscription?

Our Tricks & Tips subscription is the perfect supplement for your classes. If you take regular classes and really want to boost your home practises then this is really going to help. Each week you will get a new video from our experts with another tip, trick or combo to really help you improve so much faster! These short videos are approximately 15 minutes so that it’s so easy to fit in during the week and help improve your dancing in no time at all!

You can subscribe to one particular style and you will receive access to a video in that style every week or you can subscribe for unlimited access and get a new video every week in every style so you can grow that much faster and really broaden your dance education!

What if I already go to a dance class?

We got you covered! If you regularly take classes or you used to dance and want to get back into it, our Tips & Tricks subscription is designed just for you. When you sign up, every week you will get access to a new video with a new tip, trick or combo to help out when you are practising at home. So if you want extra motivation or if your teacher is always telling you to work on your technique, these videos are really going to help you out. Try it out for a week for free or try our courses in Pilates and Yoga to help with Strength, conditioning and flexibility.

Do you have classes in person?

We do not offer classes in person through The Dance Studio Online, however, if you should wish to attend a class from one of our instructors get in touch and we can let you know where they hold their classes!

What is included in a Dance Course?

Each dance course is made up of 5 x 40-60 minute classes. They can be played, stopped, paused and rewinded so that you can go back and try again if you need to.

We will be adding more courses soon so that you can learn even more moves and progress to more demanding steps!

When you buy a course on The Dance Studio Online you will be given access to that course for 3 months and you can rewatch all the videos in that course as many times as you like.

How much does it cost?

Our courses are priced at £25* per course which works out at just £5 per class. You will have access to the course for 3 months to take as many times as you want, at whatever time suits your schedule.

Our Tips & Tricks subscription can be signed up in any 1 style for only £7.50 per month or £75 if you sign up for a full year. That’s 2 months free!

Do I need to have dance experience?


No matter what experience you have with dance, you can find something for you. Our dance courses are perfect for those who have never been to a dance class before. If you have absolutely no dance background whatsoever you will be able to take your first steps with these courses, led by our experts. All you have to do is pick which style you want to learn first!

Where can I take a class? When? Do I need anything?

Right in your own home! All of our courses and Tips & Tricks videos are pre-recorded so that when you sign up you can follow along in your own home and at your own pace.

Our courses will be available to you for 3 months after purchase and you can try them out as many times as you want. The Tips & Tricks videos will be available for a full week for you to complete and repeat as many times as you want too before you get the next one the following week!


All you need for the courses is to make sure the space around you is clear, safe and free of any tripping hazards. You should make sure you are wearing suitable clothing that allows you to move easily and no slippy footwear! It is also important to note that you must not undertake any activity that is beyond your physical capability and if in doubt it is always best to check with your doctor.


If any equipment is necessary it will always be noted on the website page before you purchase however, most classes do not require special equipment and particularly the beginner courses can even be done in your own trainers. There may be some equipment needed for certain aspects of Yoga and Pilates but even if you don’t have it your instructors will be able to give you some tips of household objects you can use as a substitute!

The Tips & Tricks videos are better suited to dancers with appropriate footwear.
