About

WHAT to expect?

The Dance Studio Online is here to help you learn and enjoy dancing. You can choose from a number of different dance styles and fitness classes to find the one that suits you best. When you pick a style you can then buy access to our course videos where one of our industry experts will take you through all the basics to get you started.

Each course is made up of 5 video lessons available to you on-demand so that you can learn at your own pace whenever works for you. Each lesson is approximately 40 – 60 minutes long and you can repeat the class as many times as you want or rewind any parts you want to try again. You will have access to all 5 videos when you buy the course and that access will last for 3 months to give you plenty of time to learn.

We will also be adding more courses so that you can learn more, perfect your technique, gain more confidence and level up your dance skills and fitness. Follow us on Instagram at dancestudioonline and use the hashtag #tdso to share your experience!

Our other option is perfect for more advanced dancers as a complement to their continuing training or for those who want something new to try every week. Our Tricks and Tips videos offer just that! When you sign up, you will have access to our first video for free to give you an idea of exactly how these videos will work. Then every week you will get access to a new video with a new move to learn, some great technique exercises or a fun combo to try out.

Nichola Suitor

Yoga Instructor

Nichola Suitor is the founder of SuitorYoga in Dundonald with 11 years of experience as a Yoga teacher.

Feeling lost after the tragic loss of her sister Nichola discovered Yoga over 20 years ago which became the perfect safe space and escape she needed. She credits her Yoga practice and teachings for her strength – both on and off the mat, helping her to connect with her authentic self making her more grateful and fearless!

She completed her 600 RYT Iyengar Yoga Teacher Training in 2009 with the Yoga Fellowship of Northern Ireland. Iyengar is one of the longest and most in depth teacher training there is, where precision and strength is sought in the body alignment in every asana.

Yoga inspires her to encourage others to live in the present moment, to be more mindful of the world around us and to let go of what no longer serves us. She is looking forward to connecting with more people through The Dance Studio Online.

Lizzy Caldwell

Pilates Instructor

Lizzy Caldwell is the Owner, Lead Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor at North Coast Pilates & Physiotherapy in Coleraine, Northern Ireland.

She first started doing Pilates aged 17 following a VHS video! She enjoyed Pilates so much that during her Physiotherapy degree she completed her final year project in Pilates and Exercise for Lower Back Pain. Her journey with Pilates has helped her with everything from managing energy levels, to maintaining health and fitness during pregnancy, to recovering from surgery in a safe and effective way.

This love for Pilates led her to train as a Pilates Instructor, gaining her qualification in 2007 and she continues to teach classes alongside her Physiotherapy treatments at the North Coast Pilates & Physiotherapy Studio.

Lizzy is a perfect example of how learning from pre-recorded videos can work perfectly and she is happy to join the team at The Dance Studio Online and bring Pilates to even more people!
